For over two decades, the digital world has been my professional home – working as a graphic designer, web designer, and programmer, grounded in formal training as a Multimedia Producer at the SAE Institute in Berlin and as an IT systems management specialist. During this time, I have realized a wide range of online and print projects for various clients and gained insight into many different industries and perspectives, even though I no longer offer classical agency services today.

Between pixels and saltwater

As a counterbalance to screen light and lines of code, I find my equilibrium underwater: diving, joining liveaboard safaris in the Red Sea, and capturing these experiences in dive reports and photography. The silence, the play of light, and encounters with marine life give me the balance that can sometimes get lost between deadlines and technology.

Wood instead of hardware

On land, I translate these impressions into something tangible with my hands: carved wooden figures inspired by marine motifs and African forms. Each sculpture is created without haste, layer by layer, and is less a product than a captured moment – an analogue counterweight to the fast-paced digital world.

LO-Design as a personal portfolio

Today, LO-DESIGN is my personal showcase for these two worlds: digital design in the background, dive adventures and woodcarving taking centre stage. Instead of sales pitches, you will find stories, images, and projects that reveal what drives me creatively – both online and offline.
